Brief character history:
Harry Fisher is a social climber. He's handsome and a known patron of the arts, aiming to marry one of those wealthy French heiresses swanning around court, or even an English woman, if she's rich enough.

Harry owns a town-house in London, and has certain business interests he doesn't like to discuss, such as investments in cock- and dog- fighting, prostitution, smuggling and burglary. Luckily for him, he's well turned-out, charming, handsome in a rugged sort of way, and when dressed, none of the scars show.

Due to his aspirations to rise above his class, Harry likes to be seen in the fashionable coffee houses, in the galleries and at the parties. He follows the fashions, makes friends, charms people. For a man poor born to the lower classes, Harry has taken himself far, but still aims higher.
